What to bring

Yoga Mat + Sweat Towel

All students must bring a yoga mat. Required for BodyPump, BodyFlow (yoga fusion / pilates), and Core . You can purchase one at the studio as well. Towels are recommended but not essential. Sweat towels are highly recommended for kickboxing, BodyPump and GRIT (HIIT).

Water Bottle

Your own water bottle, in a non- breakable, sealed container. The best advice is to stay hydrated throughout the day so you don’t feel uncomfortable during class. You can buy one for $2 at the studio.


Gloves are needed, it is your preference which type. General sizing for women is 12 oz, for men 16 oz. Purchase online or at major department stores.

What to Expect

All fitness programs at MoveMeant Fitness are challenging but doable no matter what level you may be. Your instructor will introduce themselves to you and help you set up your equipment. All of our instructors are highly qualified with years of experience, so do not hesitate to ask any questions before or after class. Take it easy and try not to get overwhelmed. Remember, everyone at one time had to take their first class. Take a break whenever you feel the need and join back whenever you feel better.

How to Prepare

  • Come to class well- hydrated. Always drink water throughout the day.
  • Please come to class 10-15 minutes before class to allow time for registration and orientation. This will allow time to set up and look around the studio.
  • Dress in comfortable, movable clothing with closed- toed shoes for movement.
  • Come with an open mind and enjoy the process!

Thank you for taking the time to come to MoveMeant Fitness! You have made one of the best and most important decisions of your life! As you continue to come to class, you’ll quickly see why this is so.

Take another class the same week of your first class.

You have awakened muscles and stimulated systems in your body; even if it seems all did was struggled & sweat! Do not worry, this is very normal, as in your second class, you will feel more prepared and aware of techniques and exercises than the first.

Please take classes 2-3 times a week.

MoveMeant Fitness uses scientific researched fitness programs because it works. You will feel the benefits of each class physically, emotionally, and mentally. Do not be afraid to try something new. You will reap the benefits so much more when consistency is involved!
